These groups of dentures replace a few missing teeth in a jaw and use hooks or attachments to hold the denture in place. They are an alternative to fix bridge and implant supported crown or bridge.

Although partial dentures with hooks are not having the most desirable look but they are the most cost-effective way in replacing a few teeth in a jaw.

If the hooks of a partial denture are not satisfactory for a patient they can be eliminated and replace with precision attachments embedded in artificial crowns. The use of precision attachments in these hybrid dentures needs to be done by an experience dentist.
